This painting came to me in a very quiet of time of reflection. I lost someone very important to me unexpectedly. This painting is for him. I like to think the center of the painting is where he visits, where the light is emitting that it is his soul that is poking through. He too was an artist. I like to also think that I carry his artistic traits, skills, and thought every time I pick up a paintbrush because after all, he was my dad. And so glimpses of him weep onto my canvas' for the world to see.
